Emotional creativity and its relation to the quality of decision-making among university students

Abstract

The current research aims to identify:

  1. Measure the emotional creativity among university students.
  2. find differences in emotional creativity among university students, according to the variables of sex a- (males - females) b-specialization (scientific - humanist).
  3. the quality of decision-making among university students measure.
  4. find differences in the quality of decision-making among university students according to the variables of a-sex (males - females) b-specialization (scientific - humanist).
  5. identify the nature of the relationship between creativity and emotional quality to take Alaqrarldy university students.
  6. find a difference in the nature of the relationship between creativity and emotional quality of decision-making among university students according to the variables of sex a- (males - females (up-specialization) scientific - humanist). The research identifies the students of the university to undergraduate (Alaoly- fourth) in the universities of Baghdad, in the city of Baghdad for the academic year (2015-2016), and to achieve the objectives of the research researcher relied on the following:
  7. At creativity emotional measure of university students according to the literature and background theory, the scale consisted finalized after the completion of the terms of validity and reliability and the ability to distinguish (32) items distributed on 4 areas: (flexibility, originality, novelty, effectiveness).
  8. build a quality measure of decision-making, as is the scale of the (20) items, and conducted a statistical analysis of the paragraphs of the scale turns out she has a discriminatory strongly statistically significant at the level (0.05), and was extracted psychometric properties (validity and reliability) of the two measures, and to achieve those goals, the researcher the application of the two scales on a sample of 200 students in the University of Baghdad in the city of Baghdad, for the academic year (2015-2016) and then analyzed the data using statistical bagful of social Sciences (SPSS) and (Microsoft Excel), b Experimental results show:

1-be college students scientific and humanitarian two branches have high emotional creatively.

2-and no statistically significant differences in emotional creativity according to gender in favor of males.

3-and no statistically significant differences in emotional creativity, according to the variable of specialization and in favor of humanitarian specialization.

4-be college students scientific and humanitarian two branches have a good ability to make the right decision.

5-and no statistically significant differences in the degree of the quality of decision-making differences according to gender in favor of females.

6-There were no statistically significant differences in the degree of the quality of decision-making differences according to the specialization variable (Ansan- scientific(.

7-a positive relationship between creativity and emotional quality of decision-making.

8-existence of a statistically significant difference in the nature of the relationship between creativity and emotional quality of decision-making among university students according to gender variable and specialization, as follows:

  1. existence of a statistically significant difference between scientific males and females and in favor of scientific scientific females.
  2. the existence of a statistically significant difference between males and scientific human males and in favor of human males.
  3. There is no statistically significant difference between males and scientific human females.
  4. No statistically significant differences between scientific and humanitarian females males.
  5. existence of a statistically significant difference between the scientific and the human female females and in favor of scientific females.
  6. existence of a statistically significant difference between males and females humanist humanist in favor of males Humanist, and based on these results, search out a set of recommendations and proposals.
